International Summer Work Camp Details

Where: Ndanifor Permaculture Eco-village in Bafut, North West Cameroon, near Bamenda Who should join: Young community leaders, sustainability activists, people who are highly motivated to make a difference in their community, from Cameroon and abroad. We can only accept 20 participants- apply today
What we do: Spend ten days immersed in a lively program of topics concerning empowered living, cross-cultural communication and ecovillage action. Hands-on activities will be mixed with discussions and exercises. Inspiring presenters will share their knowledge. Field trips take us to cultural and permaculture sites.
The camp is an intense experience designed to challenge you to be the best you can be. Find out what others are thinking, how you can make a difference in your community. You can build a powerful network of activists. Learn to “dragondream” – create vision and plans– for a major event.

Connect through our facebook group to stay up-to-date with the development. For selected applicants we have opportunities for work-trade before and during the camp. Please apply on the page with job descriptions.
Food: Meals will be Cameroonian style with occasional international flavors as part of the cultural exchange. Participants will be scheduled to help with food preparation, cleaning and care-taking chores.
Cost of program: Fees include accommodation, transport for program activities, 3 meals/day, a full program with a variety of presenters and facilitators, t-shirt and certificate.
- Cameroonian nationals: 9.000 cfa
- International participants: 45 € or 51 US $
Not included: Transport to and from the Camp or a pre-arranged meeting place. Visa fees, immunization and any other documentation. Participants will need to bring bedding. A more complete list of items to bring will be sent after registration.
