I completed my post graduate programme in December 2017. I hold a Specialised Master’s in Environmental Engineering; with specialty in “Integrated Management of Water Resources and Sanitation in African Towns” from the National Advanced School of Public Works, Yaoundé-Cameroon in Joint partnership with the University of Padova-Italy. I am equally a holder of a B.Sc. degree in Environmental Science from the University of Buea-Cameroon (2014).
The vision, activities and projects of BWC meets my professional and career ambitions. Hence, I find volunteering with BWC after my professional training a solid foundation and platform for developing more skills and experience in building an outstanding career.
Personally, I would say I am proud to be part of such an organization; and it’s also worth mentioning that I find a lot of interest in better understanding the organization’s concept of “The Spirit of Ndanifor”; which represents the organization’s core values. I believe my passions and career fulfillments can be truly nourished through the interactions and commitments I am willing to take as a volunteer at BWC via its concepts, vision, mission, and activities. Thus, my ideas and endeavors will all be geared towards achieving the desired goals of the organization.
My focus will be on: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene; project writing, grant applications and research; Ecovillage Design Education (EDE), environmental education in schools; to support the High Value Agriculture Product (HVAP) initiative; and also actively taking part in permaculture activities (such as agroforestry). Nonetheless, the areas of poverty alleviation, green energy, green economy, Water Retention Landscapes and healing biotopes are also of great interest to me. All this would give me the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the global sustainability movement which BWC represents.
I equally value collaboration as a team and creating partnership with other individuals, communities and global platforms. In addition, I love personal engagements with issues particularly related to resilience, adaptation, restoration, and the creation of social enterprise ideas.
There is a world that we create, and there is a world that created us. These two worlds must come together in coexistence. This should be the goal of our journey as individuals; in our interactions with the all sufficient environment we have.
