Isabella Bonetti – BWC Volunteer from Italy

Welcome is the fist word I heard here Bamenda, Cameroon. I was just going down from the bus and before I could understand what was going on around me, I received hugs and this magic word that makes you feel at home wherever you are. I am not in the place I would have loved to be, at homebecause I am from Italy but now in Cameroon because I want to learn from this kind and hospitable people.

My name is Isabella and I discovered Better World Cameroon some months ago because I was looking for a local based NGO to realize a survey about "Permaculture and food security in Africa". So now I´m here in this wonderfully green place and in a few days I have already been learning how much energy there is in BWC, how is really possible to grow food in a natural way, how few persons organized can act for a "Better World".

Still I have a learn what I eat and hou to say "hello" (in Bafut) but here there are hopes!
