Better world Cameroon used two events connecting local a local indigenous community, Bafut Kingdom with an urban town community, Bamendato refocus its strategy for reaching out to local indigenous communities to unite their voice in calling out to international partners to change their methodologies of extraction and adopt funding that is based on humanitarian services rather than extraction and to support global learning, be flexible in their ways of supporting capacity of local community leaders and integrating oral traditions.
The objective is to build a collective voice for South to North Community-Corporate Partnerships that support nature-based solutions to sustainability and regenerative processes based on knowledge exchange and sharing of stories that blendtraditional African Systems thinking, food consciousness. Better World Cameroon used African wisdom traditions and civic action to connect change makers from around through internet weaving world linkinghands-on indigenous practices to modern concepts.
The Spirit of Ndanifor (Ubuntu as used in the Bafut Kingdom) supported by African Way based in Portugal was the bridge for this experiment.
The experiment of The Spirit of Ndanifor is to find a listening ear in the Global North as it has a role to play in bringing indigenous wisdom of social Permaculture the African Way into mainstream as a contribution of nature-based solutions in addressing the world crisis.
The higher purpose is in promoting Trade not 'Aid' as an international development principle and linking meaningful research in this field through Community-University Partnerships and active research in healing relationships. Both Better World Cameroon and the CoFSA commit to training regenerative leadership around the world through participative processes and co-organizing community interdependence the African Way. Co-creation through participatory processes is expected to break-down complex problems so co-sensing and collective visualization can empower staff to build on one another’s ideas, foster collaboration, catalysing co-creation and bootstring social innovation.
The Spirit of Ndanifor Rites of Passage is reputed for transforming mind sets and misconceptions that often cause separation preventing indigenous and modern communities from bridging the gap between the Global South and the Global North.
Konkankoh Consultancy is facilitating participatory processes using indigenous and modern methodology generating systemic change and integrating indigenous wisdom into regenerative business.
CoFSA hopes to advocate for out of classroom higher education to the benefit of outdoor hands-on action learning towards community building and transitioning villages to resilience through the promotion of peer to peer and intergenerational learning.
Some of the activities include building cottage industry services through promotion of circular green economy and food sovereignty, developing intercultural learning tools and methods for designing project-based global learning and intercultural exchange.
Better World Cameroon has worked over the last two decades in creating successful indigenous and modern training curriculums for youth and adult women leaders based on African oral traditions of systems thinking that support village community governance.
Governments in Africa practice colonial systems which trample on indigenous people's rights in the name of conservation of western style democracy. The Spirit of Ndanifor is reaching out for collaborations that make sense and making sure local people are informed of their rights and building capacities of youth and women leaders so they can be able to shape their own future and work towards living together with the Global North.
